  1. “Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” (Matt 25:37-40)

While reading an inspirational thought for the day in Max Lucado’s “Grace for the Moment” there was one in particular with a message similar to the commercial above asking the question, what if someone were to film a documentary of your hands, what would we see? Proud moments extending a gift, doctoring a wound, preparing a meal or moments of hands taking more often than giving and demanding instead of offering? The power of touch, some remember, others forget how significant touch can truly be. “Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man and said, ‘I will. Be healed!” (Matthew 8:3) The touch of the physician himself is living in you.
