My dad was a Yankees fan. My daughter is a Yankees fan. The latter has carried the torch of the former when it comes to good-natured, in-house ribbing. That torch was especially bright during the Phillies’ loss to the Bronx Bombers in the 2009 World Series.
I guess that’s why this photo of Alex Rodriguez is especially gratifying. Apparently the bathroom doubles as their spring training photo studio. Welcome to the New York Rankees. In the words of Phil Rizzuto, “Holy cow!”
